Dr. Ed Calle, saxophonist extraordinaire, and winner 2015 Latin Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Album, (Mamblue) doing what he does best. Here with an impressive rendition of the song “Poinciana- Song of the Tree,” honoring another legend Gato Barbieri dedicated to yours truly.
The Trumpetist
The Trumpet is a cylindrical instrument, although same length as the Flugelhorn. Trumpets point the sound out in a uni direction way and appears louder than the Flugelhorn.
The Flugelhorn Player
It’s a brass instrument resembling a cornet but with a wider, conical bore and with three valves, which provides a mellower sound than the trumpet.

The Pan Flute or Panpipes was a musical wind instrument first used by the ancient Greeks. Most commonly played by shepherds. The pan flute is named after Pan, the Greek god of nature often depicted with such an instrument. He is the god of shepherds. The pan flutes are a group of musical instruments based on the principle of the closed tubes, consisting of multiple pipes of gradually increasing length. It is also a very popular instrument found in South America and often played by the natives in public areas.
