The northern Mockingbird is also a permanent resident on my backyard and nest every year in the garden. The mockingbird is influential in United States culture, being the state bird of five states, which includes the Florida State.
Great -tailed Grackle, MG_1884
Another resident of my backyard. This is a medium-sized, highly social passerine bird native to North and South America. It is one of ten extant species of grackle and is closely related to the boat-tailed grackle and the slender-billed grackle.
When the sun shines on this bird feathers, it creates this multi color reflection which is amazingly beautiful to look at.

Bald Eagle of Fort Myers, Florida IMG_3236
A two hours drive from my house took me to the west coast in Fort Myers, where the “snowbirds” Bald Eagles spend their winter vacation. A whole day of shooting was all it took to look at these beautiful birds taking the time to reinforce their nest. No eggs yet, so both birds sometimes abandon the nest for a long period of time, but they always come back one at a time or together.
This new season will again catch all the action using three cameras that film the birds 24/7 and stream live video directly to this site.
